The first Folkestone 52hr Film Challenge took place on the weekend of April 10th 2015.

The creative prompts were:

1) Action: a message is received
2) Prop: a vacuum flask (or other flask if hard to find!)
3) Dialogue/ theme: "the truth is hard to swallow"

Our first event just couldn't have gone any better. We had some fantastic entries from both experienced filmmakers and complete beginners and had something from almost every genre, from comedy to horror, animation, science fiction and dance.

The screening night took place on May 27th at ARRCC, Tontine Street, and the Golden Seagull was awarded to director Jamie Beal for his film The Replacement.
